It said the matter was discussed during a security meeting of border officials from the two sides at Khasa (Tibetan: Dram, Chinese: Zhangmu) town in Tibet. The Chinese officials were reported to have told their Nepalese counterparts that Tibetans were running anti-Chinese activities after entering Nepal. They were further reported to have asked Nepal to strengthen border security and implied that Tibetans caught after crossing the border should be extradited to China.
